Dear Colleagues,
Ovidius University of Constanta, as coordinating institution of the "Restart for Education in a Digital Era through Project-based E-learning (RESTART4EDU)" project, code 2020-1-RO01-KA226-HE-095772, financed by the Erasmus Plus Program, has the special pleasure of inviting you to participate in the International Conference RESTART4EDU: Academic Teaching and Learning Opportunities, which will take place in Constanța, April 27-28, 2023.
The RESTART4EDU project is implemented between March 2021 and May 2023 and, in addition to Ovidius University of Constanta, the consortium also includes three institutional partners: Initiatives Pour Une Formation Efficace ASBL (Belgium), Universidade Catolica Portuguesa (Portugal) and Eskişehir Osmangazi University (Turkey).
The objective of the project is to increase the quality of the teaching, learning and assessment process in higher education by promoting active and collaborative methods (project-based learning), using digital resources.

Dear academic community,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are glad to invite you to submit your papers/projects proposals and to participate in the 1st edition of the International Conference on RESTART 4EDU Academic Teaching and Learning Opportunities, organized by Ovidius University of Constanţa (Romania) in partnership with Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Portugal, Eskișehir Osmangazi University, Turkey and INFOREF, Belgium, between 27-28 April 2023.
Contributors are encouraged to approach one of the main topics of the conference:
- Section 1 - Digital innovation and PBL
- Section 2 - Project-Based Learning: Students views and development
- Section 3 - Project-Based Learning: Teacher’s views and practices
- Section 4 - Innovative practices in Education
Instructions for the authors:
The papers can be entered individually or by teams of up to three authors. There is a limit of two papers per participant/team. The papers should be written in English and should be between 5 and 10 pages (1.5 spacing) in length. The format of the paper must strictly follow the provided guidelines. The template for the final version of the paper is available in this call for papers.
The papers must be submitted by email at restart4edu@gmail.com, the latest until the date of 23 April 2023.
Oral presentation instructions:
Presentations may not exceed 10 minutes. Each speaker will allow 5 minutes for questions. The recommended software to be used is PowerPoint.
IMPORTANT: All accepted papers can be published in the online conference proceedings, at the request of the authors and with the payment of an editing fee.
